That first note should name your project idea (special projects, collaborations, workshops, or lessons), outline the scope, and include any dates or time windows you are considering.

I usually reply within a few business days, and I can follow up with further questions or a more detailed proposal once I understand the intent and the timeline.

What to include in your message

• A brief description of the project, goal, or workshop focus.
• The audience or collaborators involved, plus where or how the work will be shared or used.
• Desired timing (drop a few possible windows so I can check availability).
• Any budget or format cues that help define the engagement.
• Links to references, mood boards, or previous work if that helps clarify the tone.
