Marvy Uchida LePen Flex is one of the currently few available colored small felt brush pens out on the market. With plenty of large brush pens available, it’s great to see a small brush pen addition. Marvy Uchida LePen Flex has small and soft nibs which makes them close to Pentel’s Sign Brush Pens – but still a little bit more on the soft side and a slight bit smaller in the nib.
I found it easy to achieve super thin and elegant upstrokes with the LePen Flex. Their downstrokes feels smooth and gives a little more “juicy” feeling than other small brush pens I have tried.
The Marvy Uchida LePen Flex are currently available in 12 colors. The colors are good, but I am missing a few colors to complete the rainbow and I wish they had a light grey pen that would be good for shading. We can always hope for an update of new colors soon.
