Stationary Island Dual Brush Markers is a set that finally gives us a real fine line tip. Thank you, Stationary Island! If you like me have been slightly disappointed by other “fine line tips” then these are to the rescue.

When it comes to the felt brush tip of these markers, they are a little different than other popular brands. When you put pressure on the Stationary Island Dual Brush Markers, it is very close to Faber-Castell’s Brush Pens. The tip bends more as a unit: either it’s bent or not. This has some advantages, like its a lot easier to keep upstrokes really nice and evenly thin, however, there are also some slight challenges especially when going from a heavy stroke to a light stroke. It is very much a matter of taste.
These Dual Brush Markers comes in a pack of 12 colors and one bonus handy Aqua Brush, this makes it a perfect starter set. I am happy with Stationary Island’s choice of colors, they are bright and vibrant and cover all the basic needs.

The Dual Brush Markers comes in a plastic see-through packaging, are easy to take out of the case and put back as well as finding the color you are looking for since its see-through.
Stationary Island Dual is unfortunately not available in any of the stores I usually go to, but they are available from Stationary Island’s own website. The price is perfectly reasonable at roughly $20, which makes them cheaper than for example Tombow’s Dual Brush Pens.
